From regular garden maintenance visits to designing and planting a new garden and garden fencing, paving and planting projects, Paul and Son provide a range of gardening services in Cardiff and South Wales.

Paul and Son is a family-owned business. Paul Luce works alongside wife, Gemma. Their son’s not quite old enough to pick up a fork yet, but the business, which was founded in 2011, is all about his future.

​

Paul’s been a gardening contractor, previously working for big gardening services companies in South Wales, for two decades. Former nurse Gemma’s passion for growing is in her blood, via her mother and great grandmother.

​

Paul and Son offer a large range of garden services. If you have any garden work that needs to be done, or you’d like to discuss a regular garden maintenance deal for your garden. We work with domestic and commercial clients of all sizes.

Our gardening services include regular visits to keep your garden looking its best with pruning, weeding, lawn mowing, trimming and tidying.

We also design and produce gardens from scratch and rescue plots that have got out of hand. We’re planting experts and can design a garden to suit your needs, and we have the landscaping skills to handle major projects.

Our pruning, hedge trimming and tree management services include tree pollarding.

If you need new garden fences, we can install them or design and build bespoke fencing to fit the space. Paul makes feather edge fencing. This is the gold standard in wooden fencing. It’s a type of post and rail fencing, with the boards forming a completely flat surface.

Whether we’ve put your fences up, we’ll be happy to paint and finish them and carry out any other outdoor painting work you have.

Our gardening services include hard landscaping, patio laying and paving. A patio can provide an attractive and practical paved outdoor space, usually next to the house. We can lay the paving of your choice, including some beautiful natural stone. We provide local materials wherever we can.

If your paving needs a clean-up, we jet wash patios, paving and stonework of all kinds, giving a beautiful clean finish and a new lease of life to your walls and pavements.

For the greener parts of your garden we can lay a lawn. This is a demanding job that requires lots of preparation to get right and stumps many gardeners. We’ll give you a beautiful flat lawn that will last for years.
